LED wheels

This may have been pointed out before... If so, I appologize and please refference the other thread and lock this one...

Someone did something cool that earns a lot of respect from me as an electrical engineer (although, it's a real simple principal that has been used in other things, such as those clocks that swing back and forth, and in the Skyliner 'toy'). The principle is simple, but you'd have to track the wheels velocity and position...

If anyone wants to make a PIC based clock similiar to the skyliner:

I'm thinking of selling my RJ's...

Edit: Seems the link in that thread no longer points to the video, but at one point, it was the same video as above. Still thinking of selling my RJ's and getting these...

Sorry, those ain't my "cup of tea". I prefer things a bit less overstated. I'd also speculate they may violate some state/fed motor vehicle lighting codes. Hope so since I have always counted on a line of dumb-asses that do illegal and showy mods to their cars. It draws attention to them and tends to make sure the law is busy hassling them and not me.

I'm gonna duck now....

Oh geez... I can't believe somebody is actually selling those things. I really do not like them at all. But you know someone will get them. Probably the same person that will also put ground effects lighting and hydrolics on their TL.

Those are very cool. I'd like to see wheels that just make a big Acura logo.

On a TL no. but on a large SUV used for promotional purposes those would be great.
