Are the TL taillights LED like the G35, Cadillac or newer Mercedes, or is it a normal taillight. I am curious because I never hear talk about it nor see many detailed pictures of the taillights "in action".
taken from acura canada's site:

Extensive use of Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) provides a high-tech image for the 2004 TL side and rear lighting. LEDs are used for the front side marker lights, Center High Mount Stop Lamp (CHMSL), taillights, and rear side marker lights.
These LED arrays have more uniform lighting and a unique, modern look. They also have a quicker turn-on time and a projected service life four times longer than normal automotive bulbs.

When i test drove the car, i didn't take a look at the tailights.. and am still curious as to where the CHSL is location in the rear.

CHSL is at the top center of the rear window (inside
)
The rear tail lights and brake lights are LED, but the blinkers on the rear (as are the front blinkers and parking lights) are standard incandescent units.
Yes, the side small gray marker in front of the door and the rear red marker are both LED, the gray one lights amberish.
Note the gray one does not blink and comes on only with the headlights or parking lights.

Not sure if the rear tail lights are really LED, as I was told by the dealer also when I bought it. Thougth I read the manual about the replacement light section, it seems replacing the tail light with the bulbs. Maybe I remembered wrong?!

So how do you replace the rear if it ever burns out? Or is that never a problem? Is it expensive?

conservative estimates for LED's are approx 20,000 life (5.4 years if on 10 hours per day, 365 days a year, which is not real life and the 10 hours on per day is more like 1-2hrs ) Most claim 200,000 hours, but something else fails before that point (a connector, solder joint, etc).
Most cars with LED lights need the whole unit replaced, but since I have not taken mine a part yet, I can not tell you how to replace.
