LED DRL Help!?

Alright so I'm quite confused as to what's happening with my DRLs..

I had LED DRLs in my old car but didn't bother installing the relay harness because I was fine with the DRL light that came on the dash, and they were still bright enough.

Now for my Acura..

The DRL light isn't even on my dash, and I have this going on :

This is a 68 SMD LED bulb, and less than 30 of them light up. Is a relay harness required in order to provide power to all 68? or are these just a bad set of LED lights?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

i believe you need the harness so it can provide full power to the LEDs, because DRL's run the bulb at a certain lower percentage so it's not fully bright, so it's doing the same for the LEDs (running only a certain lower percentage of power)

Yes, you need the harness to fully power the LED DRL's. Here is a link to my write up on how to install the harness.
