Leather seats.com works with 3GTL's.

Ive used these people for my maxima. The quality of their leather is excellent. However the prices are out of this world. Custom 2 tone set with double stiched will run approx $1,000.

Here is their link to custom do a 2004 Acura TL.

http://www.leatherseats.com/vehicle_...earSelect=2004

For those wondering my idea was to do the 2 tone option. Perforated
light grey with black leather OR Solid leather no perforated light grey with black suede center. Double stitching and the color either black or dark blue to make gauges. Center arm rest would be 2 tone as well perforated with black sides and grey top. Also Put Acura on the front seats only.

Here is an image of the style I'd like.

A picture of my maxima seats

So anyone thinking about this? The only thing is my maxima never had airbags in the seats and pretty much they were just plain bucket seats with no heater or power.

When I had the maxima yes, my brother and I installed them. Like I said the seats were basic, it wasn't heated nor power. In the picture I took that was coming up close to 5 years since the seats covers were installed. The leather is thicker and is real. Our TL seats consist of vinyl and leather.

From when I 1st bought a set to what they are priced now, yes they are quite pricy. Don't forget about installation cost on top of that. Still in the end it beats paying $ 800 + for each seat cover from Acura.

I installed new leather with a similar kit in my Acura Legend. Its not to bad took me about 30 hours i'm not sure how the TL is but the Legend seat have sorta like a metal skeleton beneath the foam and you attached the leather to the metal with hog tie rings. Here is some info off my site on my install you can sorta see how it works. Also if you do get a kit make sure its all leather and not leather on the top & vinyl on the sides. I found that over the years the color faded differently on the two making the different very apparent.

that looks awesome for 5 year old seats. On their site they have massagers too. That would be pretty neat to have but probably doens't massage shit haha

I couldn't deal with the hog rings. SO I used zip-ties instead. Not kidding either... lol.

I used hog rings as well...I've installed both katskinz and leatherseat...the quality is UNREAL and surpassed the OEM junk. Ironically, another former Maxima owner as well. I used hog rings. Some pics from last year (my old whip)

Ever since I got my TL-S I've HATED my taupe interior and getting new leather for the seats and doors, and redoing the headliner have one of my TOP priories. Those Katskinz look amazing, a bit over the top for my taste, but exactly along my lines of thinking. What can I expect to pay for the front and back seats from a place like that? Or am i better off going to a custom upholstery place?

It's going to run about $800 for plain, then options tack on. The leather quality is seriously UNREAL...I can't say enough good things about it. You can stop a bullet with the leather, it's awesome.

Im looking for Black leather with black alcantara or suede down the center, and the same alcantara or suede on the doors and headliner. Is 800-1000 an appropriate guess for the front AND back seats?

+1, when I saw S4 with this interior I fell in love with it. Too bad I will probably never do it to my car, but it would be sweet for sure.
