Does 303 even make leather care products? I'm looking at their website and do not see any.

Maybe the chemicals in the 303 you are using are too strong for the leather and melts the leather?

For leather care, I would use Lexol.

303 Aerospace Protectant is been used on leather all the time and is recommended too. Does not harm the leather. I'll say take it to the dealer and let them figure it out. You can get it replaced in the warranty.

theres nothing filling in the holes....its almost like its melting together, and feels very thin in that area...ive already called the dealer...they said just bring it by and the will check it out and order a new seat if they need to...the dealer is 90 miles away, so ill have to get it over there next week one day. It just worries me, that this happend so quickly, on such an expensive car... ive been extra cautious with the thing in every way...

it looks similar to my ebony interior also. im just too lazy to fix it. i think its because when i sit down, the heat and moisture from my butt causes the leather seat to melt and conform or something. i dont know. not that big of a deal with me.

My guess is that it was a manufacturing flaw, and the leather never was perfed in that area. You probably just noticed it now, that's all. Acura will replace the seat.

Speaks the high quality control in Marysville. Never would have had that problem in Japan...

Just wondering,

Have you tried to have the dealer replace it?

The biege finish on my driver seat back was coming off. It was on the side support. I mentioned it to my dealer last time I was there to get maintenance done. He took one look at it and ordered a replacement seat cover. Just had it done yesterday, good as new. They also replaced 2 window motors to fix the squeking/grinding noise when the windows go down. No cost, all under warrenty.

Have you tried using the leather, vinyl, plastic cleaner/conditioner that the dealer sells? It's a Honda product in a black bottle. The shit works great!

My 04 drivers seat-back did the same thing (only about twice the area as your photo..). It was the area right in the middle of my back... Dealer initially thought I was driving around with the seat heater on in the 105 TX summer heat..... Not the case.. They said it was the first they had seen melting leather.. Even the Service Manager said: "WTF, cows don't melt!!"

Replaced it without argument....

i dont have any doubt the dealer will replace the seat...im not worried about it anymore, and after reading the forums...i know one thing, that the dealers generally do take care of the problems, be it rattles or otherwise....

im jut sgoing to wait till my first service/oilchange (which is "free" from the dealer and have them look at the seat problem.

Thanks to everyone for their replies.
