Leather Creasing
It seems to be normal. However you can avoid it to certain extent by applying good leather conditioner like Lexol, Zaino. You can get Lexol conditioner in any local auto part shop or walmart, target. Zaino can be purchased at http://www.zainostores.com I like Zaino since it get the leather smell back and I love it.
Like Sean Connery's face, creases give character - at least that is what my wife says. Creases are part of what makes leather look like leather. And my Dad's WWII bomber jacket is creased like all get-out, but looks cool as hell.
The leather in my 1997 Outback is so hard that it feels and looks like vinyl - so aniline leather can be made not to crease, but is not as comfortable in my experience.
This seems to be a pain point for a lot of folks on the Forum, and my advice would be to not fret about it. As long as you are doing quarterly cleanings*, THEN dressings, the leather will have a long service life.
* Cleaning is essential to good leather care - a mild soapy water solution, or Lexol cleaner, will remove dirt, body salts, etc. And be sure to vacuum first - leather wears almost entirely from dirt, either residue on the seats, or transported from your clothing. The abrasion leads to premature wear. So do not forget that putting a conditioning dressing over dirty leather is only 40% of the care needed.
