Leather Bra Need Help!!!!

I want to buy a leather bra for my new TL 04. Don't want to buy factory bra because it cost more money. Anyone know of a reliable online store that sells the bra for a good price and is good quality? Thnx for the help.

I don't think anybody makes one in leather. That would be a pretty bad material for exposure to UV, water, bugs, etc. They are made of vinyl.

Colgan and Covercraft both make good products, and there are many sources of them that can be found with a web search. Frequently, manufacturers use these sources for their own products.

I just ordered one at: http://www.acuraparts247.com/sunnysi...ull+Nose+Mask. $127.20.

The factory one is much higher - $219.

Just remember to take it off and wash the inside each time you wash your car. If not, the trapped dirt will become like sand paper and the damage might be worse than without.

You can also go clearbra like some of the guys here do, but you will pay over $500+ and they are not an easy install. These can be removed, but you'll need an expert to put these back on. Also, I'm not sure on the life on these things if they're constantly exposed to extreme hot and cold weather. I emailed these questions to them and they couldn't gurantee the life under these conditions.

What price range are you looking at? I might sell mine (full nose mask), only 1000 miles on it.

That is the "factory" one. Acura itself doesn't make one, but they source it from somewhere and sell it as their own. (Just as other manufacturers do). The 219 price may be the list price, or an inflated price at some dealer.

Another online dealer has it also: 2004 Acura TL Full Nose Mask
Code:08P35-SEP-200
Price: $123.50
(HondaAc***world.com) Also free shipping.

Also, the "clear bra" products, if removed, are trash. They can't reasonably be reinstalled. They'll stretch out of shape when being pulled off, get dirty, and the adhesive will be messed up. There's no reason to remove them anyway.

I looked into getting the clear bra and this is what I am assuming after few question sessions with the distributors.

1. Can't really be re-used (too difficult to reinstall)
2. No certainty on what will happen if it is exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold (I'm assuming it is made of some sort of plastic)
3. They didn't know if it will discolor (either the clear bra or the paint underneath).

For me, I couldn't justify the high cost unless I was certain that it will last as long as the car. They do look great - can't see it unless you really look for it.

I decide to go for the factory full mask as I personaly think unless you have the clear bra to cover entire vehicle, paint chip, ding, dents are not preventable no natter how careful you drive and park your car. Thus, I drop the option for clear bra which costs higher price.
