Kudos to Claire Acura and Acurazine
After 24,000 miles on my '04 TL MT, I noticed the brakes squeeling at slow stops. I read the TSBs on this thread and called my local dealer, Claire Acura in Hampton, NH. I brought the car in and they were going to work on my brakes but they didn't have the Brembos in stock. It took over two weeks to get the new pads, but once they arrived, I got all new brakes and 4 rotors turned, no charge. That looked to be almost $600 worth of parts and labor (dealer rates). Thank you all!
If I was paying for this brake job, I was going to try some of the dustfree pads mentioned elsewhere on this site. Since Acura paid, I will be cleaning my wheels often. Anyone know if the new Brembos are different from the old? They mentioned these were a new PN. Just hoping they are less dust prone.
