known rattles in 3rd gen

i have an appt set up at the dealer next week to fix my trunk rattle but i heard the the warrenty only covers rattles for the 1st 12,000 miles. im already at 8,000 so i figured i would get everything done while i can. i know i have rattles throughout my car but cant pinpoint where.

can you name the known rattles in your car so i can try to locate it in my car to get fixed before the warrenty expires?

I had a small one on the speaker in the middle of the dash board. I just gave it a

firm push and hit it and it stopped. Had a small rattle on the gear shifter indicator

plate. A easy hit with my hand and it stopped.

and yeah, i dont have the convenience of the dealer fixing them for me since im at 40Kmiles. just ask them to check everything like the guy above me said... hoping that they locate them for you.

I have owned 04, 06 and 07. My 04 made more noises than ahaunted house, my 06 was dead quiet, my 07 has a creaky front passent seat and the back deak buzzes under moderate bass, I had them screw down my 04 rear deck, didn;t need it on the 06, but suspect I will save time and just have them screw down the 07 rear deak. I had a dash rattle that i resolved by jamming some rubber in the space between the dash and windshield just to the right of the VIN plate. Wish they coudl make interiors better. My 00 I30 and 02 I35 were very quiet, 00 I30 had back deck buzz that a piece of foam fixed. I briefly had a 07 Camry hybrid that was as noisey or worse than my 04 TL. Seems these fit together plastic interiors are junk lately.

im scared of what will come in my 04... it has 40K miles and so far i have noticed NO creeks. my dad said he heard something in the dash while driving it once and that was it. i assume that was the little center speaker.

anyways, i found this too. maybe you can just tell them you hear noises from all of the listed and have them take a look

I don't have rattles but i do have alot of creeking from the plastics. Just press down on the center vents, window frame, and CD buttons area and you will hear creeking. So will the shifter area. Actually everywhere with hard plastic in this car will creek.
