I'm in heaven! Picked up my Silver/Ebony 6mt, non-Navi this morning. It's a company car, and we traded my old POS '99 Chrysler Concorde w/ 115k miles in on it, at a difference of $29,290. Considering KBB trade on that car is $3,800, plus mine was thrashed, and I think KBB is overly generous, I think we got a decent deal. They threw in summer tires for no additional charge (stole them off another car in stock, wheels and all).

I'm so glad to be an owner now, instead of a lurker, drooling over everyone else's sweet-ass cars.

I was scheduled to pick mine up today, but I had a bunch of meetings that went long.... Now, I have to wait to Saturday. The horror!!!

I was really bad with it at first, but after 20 miles, I'm getting surprisingly smooth! I'll be a pro within a week.

Hey, it's soooo worth the wait!
I have a Cinderella story... The car, as I mentioned is a company car, and I new I'd be getting a new car soon. I have been doing my homework, have test-driven both the auto and MT, but I wasn't ready for the conversation I had this morning. Our controller pulled me aside, and said "We're good to go on your new car. What do you want?" I told him what I wanted, and that I'd test-driven it, and he said "Well, let's go get one." I figured I'd be notified, and have a few days to call around to find the right car at one of the dealerships. Fortunately, the dealership I test drove with had my color combo in a 6 spd, and they were easy to deal with.
