Keys

Are there any pics of the new 04 TL's key and remote?

Also, how does the remote window control work?

TIA

I do not have a pic but here is how the windows are controlled. You press open door button and keep it pressed and the windows and sunroof will roll open all the way or till you release the button. You cannot close them with the remote though. Have to use the key to close them by holding in the locked position in the door.

Thanks for the reply.

I find that odd, I would think if anything they would make the remote be able to close the windows instead of open them.

The Acura remote does it just like the BMW and Benz do. None of the mfg's remotes roll UP the windows.

Some manufacturers roll the windows up, and most aftermarket systems do too.

I guess Acura just wants to cover their ass in this lawsuit-happy nation, can't blame them.

OK, but is there a way to roll all the windows up while driving? So far, it seems like I need to roll them up one at a time.

Use your extra key, stick it in the outside door lock, turn the key to lock, turn again and the windows go up-but wait, what happens to your arm while this is happening? Thought I had the perfect solution.

Just kidding. No, there is no way to close all of them while driving.
