Did anyone receive a key number tag with your TL? If so, what does it look like?
According to the owner's manual, a key number tag should come with the key.
My key number was written in the Maintenance Journal, and I didn't get the actual tag.

It's a small piece of white plastic, about the size of a medium-sized band-aid. It has a bar code and numbers below. On mine, it was attached to the key ring along with the 3 keys and 2 remotes.

 

I actually threw mine away as I thought it was junk ( like tags on clothes). However, I was able to retrieve it from the garbage. There is nothing on it other than a bar code and number. Perhaps they threw it away also. No big deal though.

 

Mine did NOT come with the tag. However, one phonecall to the dealer and you can easily get the key number.
