i was wondering why honda didn't integrate the remote into the key for the tl...
they did it for the accord....

i didn't get a tl yet but for the owners...do you think the fob is cheap...?
i know what the G35 shares the same fob as the altima....

 

I liked the fob from my previous Accord. The TL fob sucks! It is only one month old and I have scratches all over. On the top of that, the metal ring that connects the fob and the key has a very sharp end and scratches the fob like there is no tomorrow. If they have a nice fob and make it as an accessory, I would buy it. Then again, someone in this forum will tell me that who cares!

 

I think the Accord key is really cheezy looking...I think it would be nice to have them integrated if they can make one that looks like the MBZ or Audi keys

 

having them seperate doesn't bother me. hell, i was used to it for 2 1/2 years with my old TL so it really isn't that big a deal for me.

 

I had a 2003 Accord with the two combined. It was way better.

 

Smart key conversion expensive, impossible and unrealistic?

 

Even VW Jetta has a nicer foldable key... (patented by vw)

 

I still miss my Audi key.... like the VW but smaller. The switchblade effect is way cool. I was surprised acura didn't have an integrated key of some sort.

 

Honda left a lot of features out of the TL, while giving them to lower priced cars, like the Accord and TSX.

Can't imagine what they were thinking! Wake up - Honda!
