I bought these for 90 bux (you can find a link if you search here) 6000k. I've installed them on my 08 TLS a few days ago.
And I'm regretting my purchase, the color output is great but the light output diminished by 50%, I expected max of 15% light output decrease, not friggin' 50%!
Do these bulbs need a break-in period?
I don't want to discourage anyone from the group by, maybe its only my luck!

Once burned in with about 50-100 hours of use- just like new brakes or new tires- the performance gets to where it belongs
If you lowered the car or have a lot of miles, you may want to check the headlight aim
I see SOOOOOO much better with these 6000k than the stock 4300k
yes its got a lot of blue- and once you realize how well you see road markings and such- then a long night drive doesnt wipe out your eyes.... and drive next to another TL at night and compare- you win!
whats right in front of the car is too late to avoid anyway
Technology has come a long way, and Kaixen is the International Research Center for lighting- guess who holds patents on trick stuff now!
Sure you can find the occassional deal on parts online, and its important to remember our Sponsoring vendors PAY acurazine every month to advertise here- they are what makes this site free for us to gain information from- would you rather pay 10 bucks a month? Maybe 10 bucks a question? or buy parts from people who belong to our website!
when you can- support our supporters

Just to boldly emphasize, these could be just my bulbs. I will go over my install again, maybe I screwed up, though I highly doubt it.
To 01tl4tl this is business, and I am not obligated to conduct it with members on this site.
PS the price I mentioned - no longer exists -, that company is sold out forever, so the featured group-buy IS the best current price.
Take Care.
