Just venting about some retards in a Neon

So I normally drive fast anywhere I go and was on my way back from picking up groceries from the local market.

I see no one around or anything out of the ordinary, get home and pull in the driveway, grab the groceries and was about to walk in through the garage door when I notice a primer black dodge neon with blue painted z3 fenders pull in-front of my house and stop.

I didn't care and walked in the house when all of a sudden the jack-@ss revs his motor and peels out in my neighborhood bouncing off the rev limiter. WTF?

My wife yells at me because she thought I raced someone and pissed them off,and I never even saw this guy while I was driving.

People are retarded, why would you do that in a neighborhood that has kids that play outside?....

I wouldn't have even have raced him based on his car losing by default for being a POS, or possibly "a fast POS" with rims that cost more then the cars worth...

Now I'm paranoid because these idiots know where I live so the TL is now staying in the garage for a bit...

Try not to worry about it.

If you think they might come back, call the police, tell them your story and ask them to patrol your street for a few weeks.

some people are just plain dumb,
i had a guy in a dodge avenger rip around me and gun it through a residential neighborhood all the way to his house, i was going 55km/h which is fairly fast for a res area too...

Probably just some punk trying to show off. Good idea to keep it in the garage for a little bit though in case they were gonna do something stupid.

Somewhere in another forum, I'm sure there's a post about someone driving an Acura TL like it's a racecar...

Sounds like you are an immature driver as well as the Neon driver IMHO.

He probably saw you driving fast, followed you home to see where you live, so now he can stalk you to see when you leave in the TL so he can try and race you. Guaranteeeed!

Just because I drive fast doesn't mean I drive like and @-hole, there is plenty of people that pass me on a daily basis, not to mention I drive fast on the interstate not in residential and I have a long commute once I get off the interstate to get home..

The interstates might be packed where u live but I'm in the sticks, no need to cut people off...

yeah neons are cheap economy cars like civics and corollas but the SRT4 isn't anything to take lightly. They'd outrun our automatics

There is when u already started dinner and missed an crucial ingredient.

Every ones interpretation of speeding is different, mine is 10 over which is normal under any situation on the interstate....

Your idea of speeding might be 100mph which would constitute a huge prairie dogging shit....

I can care less about street racing or racing for any matter. I wouldn't have bought the TL if I wanted to "race", I was after a comfortable, quick, sexy daily driver...

I'm sure his primed out beater was a fast one, but I could care less.

Bro it's almost certainly just some kids that wanted to race, why are you so scared? If you scared go to Church. Or on a more serious, if you're truly scared just get a gun like every home owner should have anyway.

I have more then enough guns, I live in PA. Not to mention I'm not scared, it was more of pissed that someone would do that infront of my house for no reason other then to make up for his "short comings"...

Not to mention I'm not going shoot someone over vandalizing my car, that's what insurance is for...

Just wondering, what does living in PA have anything to do with owning guns?

I live in a Pro gun state, Not every state is gun friendly when it comes to regulations, some are more anal then others is all I am saying. Seems like everyone here owns guns vs when I lived in Va and MD.

I'm very careful about driving in residential areas & do 25mph. A few months ago I was driving thru my neighborhood and 4 blocks from home when a pick up truck came flying up on my ass & tailgated beyond belief. It was our town police chief in his personal vehicle. So, did I speed up? NOPE, I stuck to 25 mph & even went slower when I made a left turn.
