You're gonna scratch that piece sooner or later, and you will have to keep repainting it to keep it in good shape.

In my opinion, not worth the hassle.

 

I'd rather look into those sexy tail-lights instead.

 

Unless that silver part is actually made of metal, it seems it would get pretty ugly after some use.

 

Said metal being Adamantium or something . . .

But seriously, that part always gets dominated by stuff I put in my trunk.

Luggage, soccer cleats, dead bod..., stuff for my dorm, etc etc.

 

where can i get that luggage from? and when are those tails going to be available? nice pic!

Well, body paint is clearcoated, yet it still scratches. Same thing with the trim piece. Unless you put on like 20 coats of clearcoat on there, it's gonna get owned. Then you get one scratch, and you will either just have to live with it or strip the entire thing of clearcoat and paint, then start over.

 

couldn't you clearcoat it and then layer it with the clearbra stuff?

 

Most of ppl cannot see it... so... get the tail lights....

 

i agree, in time itll wear and look so bad that it wouldnt be worth it, looks cool though, by the way, where did you get those taillights?

 

I actually saw that same pic before and looked at acura.com for the luggage just to see if they sold it. nope. was kind of glad...cause i am the type of guy who would buy it just to have it...
