My car now has 31k on it, I just changed my oil to 5w20 mobil 1 fully synthetic oil and filter. The car runs great. I was wondering if I should get the trans fluid changed now since its been in there for about 4 years or just wait until 60k?

My dash has this white film on it, whats the best/proven way to make it look better?

Since my car is nbp I plan on getting tints with the "black" look, so I decided to go with suntek carbon 18 all around. I like the look of the high mounted rear brake light, and I was trying to decide if it would look better with the tint trimmed around it or with the tint covering the back window completely?

 

Well, as far as the dash is concerned. Try a solution of woolite and water (50/50). After it's dry, apply 303 Aerospace protectant. You can find 303 at your local boating supply store.

 

i wouldn't bother with the tranny til later on in the cars life...50k would be better.

i have NBP as well, just got it tinted 20%, and kept the rear brake showing (not tinted over) n it looks good.

On my AM I did not have the brake light area tinted, and I've seen cars that have, and I can't tell a difference

change that fluid on the trans now if you like. Those 5at are not the kings of reliability and they are sensitive to dirty fluid. cheap insurance and you can do it yourself.

Regarding the tranny fluid, absolutely do it now. Do the 3x3. At 60k, do it again.
