anywho...when you wire up your tailgater switch, make sure you get a momentary switch and the timer relay module.

in fact, i would get the timer relay now so that you don't burn out your HID's early by having them come on everytime you switch from PARK to DRIVE. set the timer to 2 seconds or thereabouts.

must have missed where ya asked him....oh well....

Aretardedorange, the link you provided doesn't say what bulb type. Can you get more specs on the kit it temrs of it being a true pnp kit. I wanted to do the hid reverse lights a while back but didn't want to go thru all that trouble for them. Not to mention to melting factor. I know some members burnt up the housing after 2 mins on to see what would happen. You said you had them on for 10. My guess is because these are only 15w not 35w like the original setups. And since you went to them personally maybe you can set up a groupbuy for us?

And quoting me proves what.....? I already said and knew they are 15w's. My point if you read it rather then jumping the gun. You would've noticed I said the members with the 35w kits usually melt their housing after +/-2 minutes of them being on. As opposed to Orange here running his for 10 minutes like he stated earlier.

The bulb is a universal type. Just fits in the housing. Comes with 4 adapters for different reverse bulb sockets, 921, 7440, etc.

As far as group buy, I will call them tomorrow and ask them whats good. How about we discuss this on the FB chat Acurazine group NY/NJ section. I think the mods don't like group buys if the person is not a vendor. :/

First off, Thanks Orange for answering the question that others seem to be simple minded on. At least someone here can understand a question when they read it correctly rather then hitting the qoute, bold and italic buttons. Any other info on them is cool if you can share with us. Also you said you had them on for like 10 mins did you noticed any heat build hot enough to cause damage. I wouldn't image it being that your kit is 15w's and the reverse lights are only only for a minute or so the most. My other worry is when putting it into reverse then drive and back into reverse without the timer delay how long this kit will last for you. Check jptl04's threads on this he put in the timer delay and shows a wiring diagram too

Again simple mind re-read my first post, how would I know that these are 15w unless I actually clicked the link, wouldn't you think? Or is that a bit difficult for you? I HAD ALREADY SAID IT SIMPLE MIND... Now I'm not going to keep this up with you because all you seem to want to do is clutter up the thread with useless italic, bold qoutations. With that being said go into another thread and troll there to boost your post count ok. I'm done with you so here's your GOODBYE

Has anyone tried this eBay HID kit for their reverse lights?

Has anyone tried this eBay HID kit in their reverse lights? I like that they're 4300k. They sell a long lamp and a short lamp version. Any idea which one we should use? I'm also wondering if the bulbs will fit our lamp openings without modifications.
