Just Purchased MRP 08 TL-S 6-spd
Hello all,
Just purchased my Type-S last week in Morrocan Red Pearl. Live in Washington, DC. I was driving on I-95 South last night near Baltimore and got the "thumbs up" from another TL-S owner in a white TL-S who then zoomed off. Anyone in here?
This is the most amazing car I have ever had the opportunity to drive. Everything just feels right--power, ergonomics, comfort, smoothness, handling in turns. And I thought it a good value. I learned how to drive a stick in my wife's BMW 5 and I thought nothing could compare to that. I was mistaken. I came from a Saab 9-2X Aero (a Saabaru WRX to those who know), and there is simply no comparison. Cheers, all,
JC

WELCOME to the forum!
IMO you picked the coolest color/trans combination they make the TLS in....so rare, so cool, quite the eye catcher! BUT I'm prejudiced!
Good luck with your new car....hope you love it as much as I love mine!

Congrats and welcome aboard.
I would walk to work if I only lived a half mile away. Driving the car that short a distance will never get the engine warmed up.

Welcome to the forums Gelatocat. Check around the forums and you'll get a lot of good information. If you have some free time at the end of October you should come out to the DC Megameet. It should be a good time. Here's the thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/acurazine-clubs-meets-15/dc-area-mega-meet-skyline-drive-cruise-oct-28th-2007-a-373293/
JD - you can't make comments like that after I just saw some of Undercover Brother this weekend. Now I can't help but see you with your TL equipped like Eddie Griffin's!

Thanks everyone
for the warm welcomes.
So that was you, Armydog, on I-95 last night? I was just cruising listening to a funky mix (Lyrics Born's Shake it Off) and doing the speed limit quite happily. It took me a while to look over at you. I was in my own world. The TL is fun at the speed limits, too. Plus, as you noticed, she is brand new and not broken in. Cool. JC
