Just purchased '08 TL, few questions...
Well I'm a first-time Acura owner. I was driving an '08 Toyota Tundra and finally decided that it wasn't practical for daily driving (too big and horrible gas mileage). A good friend of mine just so happened to be selling his '08 TL with 19K miles on it so I decided to make the switch.
I'm really liking the car so far and don't have too many complaints. The only issue I've noticed is that it seems to idle louder than it should. Any time I'm sitting at a red-light the motor has a very low 'rumble' to it that I wouldn't expect from an Acura. The car is still covered under factory warranty so I'll be taking it by the dealer soon. I was just hoping that maybe someone else had experienced something similar.
Also, is there anything else in specific that I should get checked out by the dealer while it's there since I'm still under warranty?

I wish it was just that... but my finance has an '05 TSX and her car is making a similar sound and she was told her motor mounts were bad. Surely an '08 TL with 19K miles wouldn't have bad motor mounts already? It's more of a vibration sound but you don't feel it. It appears to idle around 750 rpm and as soon as you hit the gas and get it closer to 1,000 rpm it sounds fine and quiet.

Hey man! It's my first Acura too! I had Toyota's, Scion and Lexus, but this is the first. Awesome ride so far! But man, you did get a great car- 2008 with 19k miles?! Damn bra, nice!
