Just picked up my new '06AT-Nav

WOOOHOO! Hey everyone, I've been lurking the site for about 5 months or so researching my new car and I just picked it up today. I'm the (very) proud new owner of an '06 TL, Auto, Navi, Blue/Quartz. I have to thank everyone in this community for their dedication and feedback on their TLs. I bought an 05 TSX (Nav, AT, Black/Parch) for my wife last year, and the decision for a TL for me was a no-brainer. I got a PHENOMINAL price thanks to a lot of research on this and other forums ($30,950 for the TL with NAVI with destination included in Central NJ). I took the $1000 incentive as opposed to the 4.9 financing as it made more sense for me financially and still ended up with a very good rate. Once I got 2 dealers to match the price I was offered, I made the sale and I couldn't be happier. No tricks, no gimmicks, no hidden prices, no last minute dest or fees. The car is absolutely awesome. I love the color combo, the technology... I can't say enough. I'll probably start posting in the tech forums (can't wait to hack the Nav screen), but thanks again to everyone.

If you are looking for a TL in the NJ area and want more info on my purchase, feel free to email me directly (or you can catch me on ICQ - it's always on).

Don't I know it! Thanks man, appreciate it. I'll have to post my whole dealer experience, but in the end, great price, great service, great car... I've been paying attention to those Tech threads and I'm pretty pumped. Techie me wants access to everything. We bought my wife a TSX last year so I might try the trip computer hack as well. GOOD TIMES.

Although, the auto insusrance would break your back, compared to other states.

True. I can recommend NJ Manufacturers though if you can get it through work. Excellent rates.

If I may ask (just to give me an idea), how much insurance are you paying for your new TL ?

To Dipkat,

I am in PA (Montgomery County to be specific) and my '06 Insurance for a whole year w/200k liability w/comprehensive coverage including collision is $635/year with $500 deductable. Mind you, I am in late 40's. Insuarance Company? Erie Insurance.

Insurance is something that surprised me when I got my 06AT TL. My insurance dropped when I went from my 03 Ford Ranger 4x4 to the TL and when I paid my 6 month premium reciently I got a $23.00 refund on an adjustment. The TL runs me about $235.00 every six monthes for full insurance and I have a $500 deductable. Mind you I am in my late 40's but it was nice to see the cost of insuring a new car go down rather than up.
