Just picked up my first TL and join the forum
Well Joined the forum about a week ago. Been reading. Lots of great info!!!! 
Been 100% a GM man. Wife started looking at Toyo Camerys. I was looking at lexus and spotted a TL . Like it from first glance. Started researching and about 3 weeks later proud owner of a 05 TL w/navi. Had it about 4 days now.
We traded is a Grand Prix GTP. Just for some compraro. The TL is more loaded but the GTP was a quick car. Smoke the TL off the line but the TL is still way more of a car. I also seemed to like th esteering on the GTP. Better ratio for turning. less motion.
Dont have any formal pics. Just some autotrader shots. It has 22K on it. Everything seems tight and good. Getting ready to throw on a coat of Zaino...
Wife is hoping for better gas milage. GTP was getting about 18/19 in city. Hope I can get 22/23 out of the TL in the city. I'll keep you al posted.
Quick question. Can the it play any DVD's? I think I was reading its just DVD audio???

Congrats and welcome aboard. 
You should be able to get 23/24 without any problems. Thats my average for mixed driving. I get 32-34 mpg for all freeway driving.

GOOD LUCK with gas mileage! My 07 TL-S is a PIG! If I drive it like a 95 year old grampa its better, but I get 17-18 in just city driving. Average mixed I get about 23. I have never done normal highway. Every time I go to Chicago its like a road race. BAD MPG! 
But I don't care. My decked out 04 Tundra limited 4x4 4 door 4:10.1 posi, K&N intake Borla dual exhaust got 11 in the city, 13 mixed and never checked highway because it was always loaded with a ton of extras and I pass other cars when they crawl. So even 18-20 mpg is great in comparison.

Hi gang...Thanks for all the feedback.
Here is a update.
Some pasked what I paid.
Paid 26,500 for it. Not certified. Was not from a Acura dealer. A high end Audi/Land Rover dealer but not certified Best deal around most are 28K for low 20K milage car in SW florida.
Car is running great! Milage is about 19 MPG in city .. I was expecting a tad more about 22.
We did get 33 on a Disney trip last weekend. I was impressed. I filled up reset the milage and it started out at 30 and went up to about 33. On the way home.. Tropical storm Barry was in town. I was driving into the wind..Avg 30mpg on the way home.
What are you all useing to wipe off the dash. Amorall or ?? Seems like a type of rubber material instead of vinyl?
