Do you mean noise wise or slow reving? I've been fighting it to get into first smoothness wise.

it is quite girly compared to say...the G35 I tested B4 I bought the TL. I think the G35 is definitely faster and sounds better than the TL.

well, if your one of those who likes those rice rockets with the aftermarket mufflers, you may be dissapointed, I guess you could pull the stock rear mufflers off and replace with some aftermarket stuff. to me the car is about refinement not about noise.

Hey, Turbo I think you need that Kentucky fried chicken bucket for a muffler. To achieve the sound that you are looking for.

hehe. i hate those ricer mufflers that look like something was banging it backdoor for a few hours.

At my highschool we have a lot of different cars that rev very nicely and i was wondering why a performance sedan would not sound like one. A bunch of my friends have cars that rev very nicely even those that are sub 250 hp, and i was wondering why the TL doesnt sound the part.... Maybe i shouldve bought a cobra???

I will sell you my Formula 350 is you want sound!! And I am not talking about that ricey sound, this is ground shaking deep sound. Everybody around you KNOWS when you punch it.

However, the sound NEVER goes away. If it was my daily driver I would go nuts....

I can not wait to get my TL. A sleeper car is the best way to go. And this car is sooooooo sweet.

Don't take my comment personally but I don't think that Acura designed the TL for the highschool set. This was definitely not their target audience. This car is designed for those who are subtle but sporty and enjoy non-chalantly blowing cars off the road ;-)

The exhaust is definitely more aggressive sounding than the old TL I had. When you floor it, you feel and hear it as well. It's a good balance.

Ya know, I gotta say I love Cobras. It's just about the most fun you can have in a car for the money. But there comes a point when you want quiet, refined power, as opposed to doing smokey burnouts and donuts in the parking lot.

This new TL is AWESOME. Athletic, powerful, refined and luxurious. And Stang interiors? Fugly - though I hear the new Stang is gonna be pretty awesome.
