Just got tints, now have a lighting problem.

I just got window tints done today. Now my interior lighting is acting funny.

- All dome lights and just the driver courtesy light dim but are still on even with the engine off. Passenger door functioning normally.

- when i got my car back the navi asked for the code. im assuming the battery died somehow, could this be the problem?

- these all have been previously replaced with LEDs, however they have never done this before.

Your battery is likely in need of a full charge. The shop likely left the doors open the entire time, and the TL will drain the battery in the most offensive manner. I've killed a Yellow Top, twice, when I was doing the initial LED conversion...so much so, I purchased my own charger.

I'd advise taking it to Autozone or the like for a full, slow charge this weekend.

^ That is the most plausible explanation.

Agree with above post. I know window tinting places spray a lot of water on the glass while doing the tint, hopefully they didn't short out anything.

So I ended up just waiting it out and it has fixed itself.
I have a new problem now, today was the first day I rolled the windows down and now my auto up/down on the driver and passenger windows no longer works... Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Does your window roll up/down regardless? If so, reprogram them buddy

They do go up and down but you have to hold the button like you do the back windows. The one push auto down/up isn't working. Do you mean to reprogram then in the gauge cluster via the steering wheel?
Thanks.

Try post #2 in the thread below...

It's for a 2G TL, but it's the same for our car!

Another for 3G...they say 2-5 seconds..same end result.

^ Bingo

I mean reprogram your windows from the master switch to go up and down automatically.
