Just got my OEM kit in the mail

got it from the Acura dealership in Washington from ebay. took about a week to make it to NY. i will be installing it either this weekend or next. all depends on when i have the time

Nice. I want to do the same, but I'm a little afraid that I'll have fitment issues.

fitment issues? i've installed stock honda/acura kits before and if you follow their instructions there are no issues

seems like most of them are from dealer installed kits, most dealers don't care how it fits as long as it's on the car. we will see how it fits when i install it

Rets:

It is hard plastic. It is more scratch resistant than the rest of the bumper, as there is no paint to scratch. A scrape would definitely show, but a light bump will be like it was never there.

To the original poster:

Where are you gonna sleep until you install the kit? Looking good man. Keep us posted with the install pics.

doesn't look like it's happening this weekend, too much snow and it's too cold. hopefully it will be warmer next week and no snow

i just had my kit put on this past wednesday. since then it has snowed twice and there is another storm coming on monday. But i had my friend install the aspec kit ... and he did a great job with the gaps ......... i'll post pictures after all the snow has gone away ova here in Jersey!!

took me only a few hours and i installed it myself in my garage

here are some pics, never took pics of the front or side after i installed itm just go lazy. but i don't have any gaps, the hardest part was putting the rear bumper back on the car
