In AZ the front windows have to be 35% or higher. The back windows can be spray painted if you want to. I have 35% in front and 20% for the others w/ no tint strip.

Aaaarrrggghhhh!
I have an '05 black on black... but in NH, we can only tint the rear door windows and rear window. No fronts ... I am skipping the tint as I think the car would look pretty bad with 1/2 of it tinted and 1/2 not. I'd rather have all windows the same shade (stock)
We don't have a lot of "real crime" around here, so Johnny Law's main purpose is to find things like overdue inspection stickers and illegal tint to generate revenue....
As for the front windshield, I would not tint that even if I were to tint the rest of the car.

I used to live up there too.. I used to find it ridiculous how it was legal if the car came with front tinted windows, but illegal if you had it done yourself.. Live free or Die my ass...

I concur. Whatever % you decide on, keep it consistent from front to back to avoid a 2 tone look. Black on Black makes the windows almost look tinted already, so aim for the even tone.
Nice ride. I'd love to own all black. I'd love it even more if someone kept it clean for me!

Reading other forums a lot of people have been saying 20% all around is the way to go.. U think that will be too dark? I dont want it too light and regret spending $250 for 35% to not like it. The dude at the tint store said he'd go with 20 while on the phone w/ me to schedule my appt. The brand of tint is llumar btw.

I have 15% on all my windows and a 5% brow on the top of the winshield. The rest of the winshield has no tint of course. I love the way it looks on cars that are black and black.
