I just tried to jump pins 4 and 9 to get a read out for my SRS (air bag) malfunction. I dbl checked before I jumped. It blew the 15 amp start circuit fuse instead. My question is; is it possible to get that read out (flashing sequence) by jumping the 4th and 9th pin positions. If not, is there a way without going to the stealer.

pretty sure you cant, that jumping method was only for older hondas. It's likely a buckle sensor malfunction as that was a recall for the earlier 3g TLs

Is there any way to look up a recall on that. I'm just trying to cover the bases before I heard off to the stealer

well, srs system usually has a lifetime warranty, so it might be covered under warranty

diagnosis solved. Friend had a reader, it was the passenger side belt buckle, which is covered under the lifetime warranty. My local Acura dealer agreed, scheduled for the switch out. All is good.
