I guess I am as close to joining the family as possible .. I cut a deal on an 06 TL Auto WDP today .. all things being right I should see it in a couple weeks ..

First mods will be 35/20% tints and wheels.

Thanks Ron .. I have waited before .. buy new every 3 years or so .. and I am a stickler for what I want so mostly its not on the lot .. I am going from Black to white so making it like glass will be a challance but I detail professionally only hi-end stuff so it will be fun..

Nope .. I know where I 'm going .. and how to get there .. pretty expensive option up here for the 3 times a year I might use it or the bragging rights.

Ya .. up here its a $2800 option and with additional taxes runs $2900 .. I live in a town of 7000 and when I do go to Vancouver its to withing the same 10 block area .. so its kind of a bragging rights thing ..

So I took the money and went with wheels and other things .


Here out town is small enough we have a 5 PM rush minute.

 

Hey, I got a non-navi!!

Although, riding in my friend's nav equipped TL sort of makes me regret that decision. Oh well, only 14 more months and time for a new one!!

 

Oh sure .. you want me to tell you this .. I was going for the only TL with them ...

 

Ah yeah that is a big difference. In the states it is only 2K which is alot easier to deal with that 2900. I think I would have made the same choice as you given the price difference. Enjoy the car.

 

Ha, Imagine how my wife feels when I let her drive my 05. She has an 03 TL S Non Navi. The bad thing is now I have created a monster. Everytime we talk about replacing her car she insist on the Navi. So now I am screwed.

 

haha you could always be the only TL in Canada with them Besides, I'm fairly inclined to picking up some aspec gunmetal's and it will take massive persuasion and some pretty cool pics to change my mind. Looking forward to seeing how they look
