What a cheap dealership. I have never been told that with any of my vehicles I havent received any loaners from Jay Wolfe Acura, but I guess I wouldnt be shocked if they did. I would think Acura would place guidelines on dealerships reguarding this issue, since Acura is attempting to compete with the big three BMW, Lexus, and MB

When getting the loaner, the only two things my stupid dealer would ask me for are "my insurance info" and "if the fuel on the loaner would be enough for me to use".
I'd be if they ask me to fill it up 'cause this isn't the rental I want, however, I'd feed a few gallons into if it runs empty on my return to the dealer.

Mt dealership just started charging $8 per loaner to pay for the gas. Apparently the owner said either find a way to make the program affordable or stop it. I'll pay $8 for a loaner TL or TSX rather than having no loaner at all. I always brought the loaner back with the same amount of fuel in it, but apparently everybody does not.

i personally think that if you use the gas you should fill it back up. It's only fair that way unless the dealer f-ed up and they needed to compensate above and beyond. Gas ain't cheap these days and i wouldn't want to have to pay for someone else's gas.

There are a lot of people on here that talk about not getting a loaner or getting a cavalier or some other POS to drive, its not difficult for me to dish out a few dollars for gas (at least for what I use) or the $8 I have to pay now to get to drive a TL or TSX loaner. Of course it would be nice to keep it out of the shop completely but SH!t happens I guess...
