Jacking one side!

I'm planning to paint my wheels and calipers, and was wondering if I can use two jacks and just jack up one side of the car at a time? Or should I try to find two more jacks, and can I put the whole car on jacks?

You'll be fine jacking up one side of the car at a time. There's nothing wrong with it.

Post pics after you're done!

They're the same. It really isn't important what jack he uses, as long as he jacks the car up at the proper points. But, jack stands would be the safest thing to use to hold up the car.

You will only need 1 jack and two JACK STANDS! Do not attempt to work on any suspended cars unless it is on jack stands! Failure to do so may cause death, if the jack slips or breaks, which there is a good chance it may, you can have a limb cut off by the car falling to the ground.

What he said!

Yes you can use two floor jacks to jack up one side of the car, but you must do each one in turn so as not to "twist" what passes for a chassis.

Do as csmeance says and use jack stands. MUCH better. Jack up the car at the front and rear jack points (not at the same time of course), and position the stands at all four jack point corners. THIS is how you want to do this job.
