a waterfall cascades into the trunk soaking everything inside! What's up with that??

 

It happens to me after every wash when I'm drying the TL. However, if you open it slowly it falls on the rearshield and follows down in the gutter.

 

Thanks I'll remember that for next time. "Open trunk slowly in rain" wasn't mentioned in the Owner's Manual.

 

Yeah that sounds messed up.

 

Are you opening the trunk uncovered while it's raining? or you are opening a wet car after it's stopped raining? If the later then open your tunk slowly. If the earlier then DO NOT OPEN the trunk. It will soak everyting inside.
