It's a great day... XM and Comptech SS!
Hey everyone,
Just like the title of the post states, what a great day!
*I wake up this morning and make the call to XM and get the $77/yr deal and my XM is playing within 10 mins of starting the call... thank you to the MODs that have kept that thread clean for so long. It is greatly appreciated!
*Then I decide to install the Comptech Short Shifter that I received earlier this week... Easy install and WOW, what a difference! Talk about a modification that is worth every cent, the Comptech SS is awesome!
I never even opened the Comptech instructions. I printed out the DIY instructions from the 3G Garage and they were fantastic! I would almost bet that the thread itself took longer to write than it took me to actually do the install!
I have to take a second and thank jmbnova for this incredible post!

What an awesome step by step guide. Thanks again.
See what I mean, great day today for me!
Thanks to everyone for this site and what you bring to it!

I made the call to XM and was turned down since they didnt have any record of my name anywhere. and my car was listed under the old owners name.
anywho long story short I told them to sign me up for 3 months, (get my name in the system to try the 77 deal later)
thank god I did that! after my 3 months is up I'm letting it go, if they call back and offer me XM for free I'll take it but at 7 bucks a month IMO not worth it.
I have it now and do nothing buy play CDs.

The shifter is very comfortable. It feels like my old tremec in my 91 Mustang I had. Very distinct shifts, no more rowing the boat.
Quality mod for sure.
