Has anyone figured out a way to install an auxillary jack for an IPOD. I hate using the tape adapters and have yet to try the FM transmitters. I know of people who have installed auxillary jacks on other cars, but the 04 TL has so much going on with the navigation system, 5:1 surround, etc, that I am skeptical about letting someone tinker with it.

Ditto that question - I'm looking for the same info.

you would lose XM capability, if you have Nav you have to splice wires... i dont think a switchable alternative has been reached yet

Would like the same thing. Rumor has it that Alpine is working on it and future (probably '06) TL's will have it.
