Ion Yellow bulbs for '04-'06 TL integrated foglights

Are their bulbs available for the 04-06 TL headlights that are ion yellow in color (similar to the IS300)? What is the bulb size for fog light bulbs?

Anyone have any pictures of this? I wanted to see how'd it look?

Thanks!!

I just picked up some yellow fog light bulbs last week. Google HOEN endurance yellow. The size of the fog light bulbs are 9006. I'll take a picture of how they look later tonight and post it up. They are pretty yellow and look real nice!! There are also other yellow bulbs out there that people get...like Nokya Yellows, Piaa yellows, etc...search for fog lights on the fourm and it'll come up with a bunch of threads.

Ebay. I haven't received them as yet but after doing a little research they seem to be pretty reliable.

I went a different route and installed yellow plexiglas in the bumper bezels over the fog lens. It's 1/4" thick. They don't touch the lens but offers great protection from rocks and such, plus allows a nice yellow fog while using the OEM white bulbs. Of course they will be yellow all the time. I have a DIY in the garage.

Here are some pics:

These are Nokya's after my Luminics burnt out. When the lights are off, the lense looks slightly yellow only if your viewing from about the same level of the headlights, and higher and it doesn't reflect the yellow of the bulb.

^ That's with the fogs wired as DRL's right? I don't think you can normally turn those lights on without the headlight projectors also on.

edit: Nevermind, DRL mod in your sig.

Yes, they are easily accessible in the engine bay and install just like any other automotive bulb.

To remove, grab onto the elbow of the socket, turn counter-clockwise [I think] and it will become loose. Pull straight out away from the headlight housing.

Once the bulb is out, pinch the wiring harness connector and wiggle/pull until it releases. opposite process for reinstall. Make sure you don't touch the glass of the bulbs with your fingers or get them dirty in any other way.

Also, I have tried the $7 yellow bulbs on ebay and they never last more than a few weeks if you're lucky. Go with a nicer brand like Nokya, Luminics, PIAA etc for a few bucks extra and a lot more longevity.
