Post Invoice for Non-Nav and 500 over for NAV

Based on my shopping experience, a G35 in Atlanta I can get for UNDER Invoice, I don't see why I shouldn't be able to get a TL no-navi for invoice and given the demand for navi units, 500 over invoice for those. This is what I am aiming for. I would get the G35 but the interior is so cheap looking I can't get over it.

Given the dealer holdback, a deal of 500 over invoice for a navi would still net him $1,500+. Thats a good deal. Those that are paying 500-1000 off, realize that that nets the dealer somewhere between 3,000-3,500, thats crazy!

well..

Good luck even finding a tl with navi in the color combo you want...
Theres not many of them and every dealer I talked to was selling them close to MSRP which is why I went non nav. Acura of turnersville discounted them a bit but they dont have any. Its not that the dealer isnt making holdback..they are but why sell would they sell it to you for 500 over if someone is willing to pay close to msrp ? Non navi is a whole different story though...Good luck with your search.

Nah, not crazy, that's just what the market bears in some areas of the country.

Like the previous poster, in certain areas of the country, the Navi TL is still hard to get in a combo that you want....so either you pay THEIR price or someone else will.

As for trying to compare G35 to TL pricing....the TL is in its first year of production with this new body style, unlike the G35.

You obvoius have no idea how market economy works. I suggest you stop by the library and read a chapter in basic Economics book about supply and demand.

This is pretty much right on the money. The TL has different demand in different areas of the country, so some people may be able to get better deals then others. Simple supply and demand... and if what the above folks are saying is true as far as color combos with NAV being hard to find... well, that's just more money that you're going to pay. Also, as mentioned above.... comparing the G35 to the NEW TL pricewise is apples to oranges... especially when a new G35 is due out for MY 2005, so current units will be selling at a lower price point anyway.....
