I've used the LED's I've mentioned above.. and they work just fine. If you look for the post title "superbrightleds"
I posted 2 different types of LEDS. I ordered more of the 2 variations I mentioned and will take pics when I get them.

I used cabinet accent lights that they sell at Ikea in my Scion a while back. They feature 12 or so LEDS each, run on 12 volt and are about 2 credit cards thick. Very nice solution and only $40 at your local IKEA store or online. They come with 115 adapter, but I just cut this out and wired them inline with a fuse to my dome light.

It was relatively easy....
Depends on of course where you want the lights mounted..if you want to mount them externally as in "puddle" lights, these probably won't do as they aren't very waterproof.
I had mounted them internally on the headliner. I pulled the white plastic casing off, painted it to match the headliner and installed them on top of the plastic trim that covers the seatbelt mechanism. I then removed the visors and lowered the headliner a bit to gain access to the dome light. Used a coat hanger to fish the leads from the lights to the dome light, then wired in a fuse and taped into the dome. I'm sure you can run it to the fuse box and all, but I thought it was easier to just run it around the sunroof and to the dome. The entire interior was light up in a soft white glow when you opened the door...very pimp, but still tasteful

Lusid's got the right leds for the interior:
I was gonna follow ua6specs lead and install the same Varad "wheel well" lighting kit as puddle lights. After wrestling with the decsion, I decided to go another route:
1) Expensive for 4 little leds
2) Come with a silly control box that makes them do tricks (bump with the music and whatnot) ... That's too much for me.
3) You only get 4. It looks wierd with only 2 per side to me. You can add 2 more, at $40 a piece more. no thanks.
I just received a Varad Underbody Light set which I plan to use for puddle lighting.
(UL200 - white)
I'll use the 2 long (54") sticks inside the side skirts. I'll drill small holes in the sideskirts for the led light to shine through... Nice and clean, even distribution of light.
I'll probably resell the 2 shorter (28") sticks, or use them for trunk/underhood lighting.

Search for Kenndy. He did a huge review on some led lights. i got everything he recommended, and i am very pleased with these leds. i have them for 3 months now, so far no burn outs.

No. For the third time. They're the Varad SL200 kit, mounted int he side skirts. Google is your friend.
Here's a thread showing some more puddle lights, including ua6specs mounting.
