Im trying to upgrade my interior lighting to all LED, I got the covers off puddle light, dome light, and back dome light no problem, but having a PITA time trying to get the vanity mirror light covers off, Im pretty sure it's been discussed before, but I searched and couldn't find any threads that was helpful.... anybody wanna help?

 

if by vanity mirrors you mean the ones above the sun visors, get a flat screw driver and gently push it between the plastic cover and the metal housing. There is a sort of hinge that holds it up. So push that in slightly (this is done from the interior side of the car, not from the door side) and the plastic housing should come right out.

when you're putting it back on, remember to push the "hinge" back into place so that the plastic housing remains in place. once you get it off and look at it, you'll know exactly what i mean.
