I don't have mine yet (its on order). The local credit union has 4.2% for 36 months and 4.4% for 48 months. The salesman told me he could get 3.9% but I didn't ask about the legnth (probably 36 months). These all assume you have a very high credit rating. I hope this helps.

USAA

USAA has 3.9 for 60 months and 4.95 for 72 months 100% financing. Not everyone is qualifies for USAA (Military (or dependants, that's me)) Honda America was willing to match that offer. FWIW Plus USAA includes GAP insurance at those rates. Downpayment made no difference in rate.

Dont be afraid to see what the dealer can offer you. I went in on the 29th of Jan to purchase mine with a deal of 4.29% from Chase Manhattan. When I got there they offered 3.64% from American Honda Credit.

I'm sure you can guess which one I took.

look at it this way if you put down 8g now then you end up not paying intrest so if the intrest is 3.9% you save the $312 intrest you would pay if you include it in your payments.

the intrest in ny is 3.9% for 42months

Fortunately, I was able to take advantage of USAA's financing at 3.9% for 60 months. I put 20% down and financed the rest. Personally, I don't like having to finance through a dealership. Since USAA already made the offer, I was able to concentrate strictly on negotiating the price of the TL as opposed to the price and a loan rate.

Paul,

I received 2.9 % from USAA for 60 months. I just asked can they do better than the 3.9% listed on the website.

first of all, how old are you and how's your credit? if you're young, are you gonna have a co-signer? does he or she have good or bad credit?

3.74% for 60 months through American Honda Finance. This depends on your credit and you do need to negotiate with dealer since they make a profit of your financing. Having a good credit rating (>770) will help.

If you have a crappy credit rating it would not matter if you put 50% down. The credit rating counts the most. The amount of the down payment means nearly nothing in most cases. Leasing is a different story.

3.64% AHFC for 60 months

30.8 for the car (std auto sedan, no navi) ; $32,050 out the door in N. VA.

I would guess that deal won't happen next week.

Similar situation here, I'm 22 and only have about 6 months of credit history. Because of this, the initial number I got through Honda Finance was 6.7%, but I called them out so they "called a person on the phone rather than the computer" and got that down to 4.9%.
