I deleted a bunch of posts. Ken is trying to find out how many people are interested in this mod, and screwing up his thread with negative posts is not helpful to the people who might want one.
If you don't have anything positive or constructive to post, stay out of the thread.
You can take this as a suggestion or a warning, depending on your attitude or reading comprehension skills.
***If you like the original grille that much than why you checking this thead for??I need feedback instead of talking shit sir. Thanks

for the #3 with the logo cut out..do you need to remove the oem grill? Cause..if not and its a bolt over then you can see the oem grill in the back.

Billet grilles are nice, but..IMO the flat grill does not suit the car. #2 w logo looks good but if it was slightly pointed in the middle to match the profile of the alloy trim pieces then it would look OEM.
The grill might look nice in chrome for the 07 Type S, and a dull finish anodized or media blasted alloy for the 04-06 grills.

Im going to retract my bid on this. Ive gone through just about every configuration I could go with that type of grill and I dont think its going to go with the look that I already have for my car..
But thank you for doing this Ken..

Hmm...for some reason this look seems to only work for lighter cars. Can someone (Yeah, read you Tony - lol) photochop a NBP with the first one?
I'm really thinking of blacking out my front, so something I bought would have to be your black version Ken. Can you offer some pics of your grilles in black? I'm pretty sure you would get more lookers that way!
My ideal look for my car is for a look that makes my chrome emblem look suspended (grilleless - is that a word? lol).
But I am intrigued, so show us NBP'ers some black pics!!

Am I crazy or does this:
(conceptualized photoshopped edit)
look a little bit like this:
(actual picture)
Granted, they are different (there are vertical lines in the grill in the second image), but the idea is pretty much the same.

A person should know pretty quickly whether they'll like the modification by looking at the second picture, instead of all these people trying to photoshop the author's pictures.

A J35A8 EG civic is in
How would something like this look?
Its the grill from a Jaguar S-Type R. I cant actually picture it that well but maybe somebody with photoshop can see how it would come out on an NBP.

#2 cutout
This one is with the lower one but I dont think I will do the lower one cause you will have to cut the bar out, so is better just get the chrome trim insert on ebay
here is the picture how is going to look nice

I've been talking about modding the center grille forever. This grille gives it an RL like appearance, very nice. I think the grille with the cutout is the winner but some like that clean non-embelem look so the only way to make good $$ KenUA6, is to offer both.
I won't commit till I see an actual protoype, I want to make sure it doesn't look too truckish. Photoshop can only do so much, and then again seeing it in person can totally make up your mind. I agree a mesh would better suit the TL's sporty character I wonder how the billet theme would work. I'd say the lower grilles would HAVE to be done too. Maybe some accent in the rear to go along with the theme?

Wow, the black #2 looks pretty cool! Still having a problem with the different looks (upper and lower). Question Ken, why does it have to be billet? If we like mesh, and you are looking for what garners support, then why not mesh? That way, we can have top and bottom right now!
Why not take a vote on mesh or billet? It doesn't seem to be consistent support for the billet IMO. #2 is nice, but #1 is very busy. Truck look.

Darksom1 Why im doing billet only is cause I only sell billet grille right now I will have mesh grille around June + later we will have chrome door handle and mirror cover too and Im actuelly thinking to make the silver piece on the hood and grille to become chrome(ABS plactic) to match up the billet grille or mesh grille.

Sorry to go OT here but just to comment, if you can do a mirror cover with LED signals to look like 2007+ it will sell like hotcakes. On Ebay there are vendors selling them for many different BMWs, Lexus and MBs but no Acuras. It is way cheaper than the whole mirror and easier to paint.
