in my state, if you don't have insurance, they confiscate your vehicle.. bike or car.

So I guess in Florida is one of those states that your not required to have it...maybe life insurance would be better?

Owning a bike woud be more practical if you didnt have a family....ect...

I think I'd rather be dead than barily surviving a motorcycle accident...but than again it all depends on the circumstance and scenario.

Is insurance required for motorcycles in Florida?

Under certain circumstances Yes. Insurance is not required to register motorcycles as with four-wheel motor vehicles. However, if a motorcycle operator is charged in a crash with injuries, then the owner or owner/operator is financially responsible for bodily injuries and property damage to others.

Take it to Car Talk....MC insurance has nothing to do with the TL.
