Instructions: Removing Interior Trim

There have been several posts on people asking how to remove the interior trim.

I decided to post the pages from the manual that cover this.
I cannot recommend the manual enough - hopefully this will encorage you guys to go and buy it.

The pages are HERE.
Please RIGHT CLICK on the above link and SAVE the TIF file to disk.
The file is a multi-page TIF, which you should be able to print from most basic graphics programs.

I hope that this helps people.

Hey Nick,
Thanks for posting the instructions. I'm wondering if you could post the page for removing the door panel. I'm getting my tints done on Friday and would like to remove the door panel myself rather than have the installer butcher them. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to get the manual

Thanks in advance,
ISH

Just curious why the door panel would need to be removed to tint the car?? I have had many cars done and have NEVER had to remove the door panel!!

The installer needs to add felt to the rubber strip in order to avoid the tint from being scratched.

See page 269 of the owner's manual-prices, availability, website, telephone number, etc. Service manual is $69 + 6.95 handling.

That was "too cheap" I didn't believe that service manual was the actual "one". I thought at $70 it would be more like a Chilton's or something equally cheesy. $70 is very cheap for an actual "thick" service manual.

It sounds like the real thing (I hope). Check this site, it says it is over 1,000 pages of detailed repair instructions and diagrams. As soon as someone confirms it is worth the money I will order one.

The only thing that bothers me is that it says 2004 2.5/3.2TL Service Manual, but I think they just never changed their typesetting.

Just be the diagrams I saw today in this thread it's surely worth $70. I'll buy one.
