Post installing engine air filter in 2008 TL

My dealership just told me it would be over $100 to replace my engine air filter and cabin air filter. I have instructions for installing the cabin filter. Does anyone know of a YouTube demonstration of how to install the engine air filter. Can someone tell me how to do it?

Engine Air Filter:

Unscrew the top of the air box; 4-screws and they're attached to the box, so you won't lose 'em.

Remove the top, remove the old filter.

Put the new filter in, replace the top.

10 minute job if you take a beer break between removal and replacement.

Hi Sabrina,

As Bear mentioned, all you need is a phillips screwdriver.

Just make sure to use the pointed end of the screwdriver to remove the screws. If you can do the cabin filter, then the engine air filter should be a POC

Just use a socket/ extension with a phillips head, the screws may be to tight for a screwdriver and you don't want to strip them.

that's what i did. might take a little elbow grease to move the cover up and to the left but you can move it enough to get the old filter out and new one in.
