don't overthink it guys...the cheap knockoffs work just fine thus far...no leaking of water, no melted plastic with HID's for well over a year or more.

They don't come with HID kits, it's a typical H11 halogen.

If you want HIDs, you're going to need an HID kit.

Had that happen to me once with my accord fogs.

Used Lexan temporarily, then found a OEM fog assembly for cheap on ebay.

I don't know how easy it is to replace the inspire lens with Lexan, though.

At $100 I'd just buy another set, swap the entire lens and have one extra for back up.

How well does that rectangular switch fit into the OEM location? I noticed that the oem spot is rounder.

Does it actually fit flush like the VSA or a little loose?

Don't think it would fit perfectly as VSA but not 100% sure. Didn't use it.

That stupid switch won't fit.

Then the connector from the inspires harness won't fit in the OEM switch from the accord.

There's a way to wire the harness to the switch, I'm actually going to tackle this on Tuesday ..

I plan on trying one of these two options when I get around to installing some Inspires.

Just ordered a set of the smoked fogs. Not sure if I will run HID or not. I used 3000K HIDs in the old clear ones. If I did switch to halogen, I would use the Silverstar ZXE. I have them in my S2K high beams and they are very nice. Pics to come!

I would just use good set of leds for the look. Projector in the fog has no purpose at all, and if you have headlights with good cutoff... it will just ruin it.

If not, I would use zxe as well, but not HID.

Fit question..

To get the slanted or angled side in like you guys have done,
are you turning the foglights upside down from the way they were intended to go, or is it just changing L-R sides from how they were intended to go?
In other words, is the top still the top the way you guys are installing them?
So that the reflectors are correct..?

And what about the mounting angle inside the grill, from the pictures, they look like they are angled to the sides too much instead of straight ahead.
Does most of the light hit in front of the car or more off to the sides?
Thanks
