Injen benefits??

New to the board - and the new TL! Love this car though.

I know this must have been covered somewhere already, so I apologize in advance if it's a repeat....
I'm looking for some aftermarket goodies not necessarily for added power, but more so for better fuel mileage, since my TL will be doing 30k plus a year. Does the Injen system provide better mileage along with the slight boost in power? What other benefits might it have? Sound would be great, since this thing is too quiet for my taste - making me bounce the limiter a few times just because I can't hear it revving that loud

Thanks......

as far as gas mileage i'm not too sure. all i know that it does is give you about 5 hp extra for driving and about 11 hp when pushed hard. not to mention the cool sound it gives off.

If Unorthodox Racing comes out with a pulley set (please, please) that should offer power along with better MPG (I have a set on my VR6). I also know using Redline oil in the engine and tranny have gotten me better MPG as well in other cars.

as far as better gas mileage, have you thought about one of those tornado things? they're supposed to give more hp and better gas mileage

The Tornado is just a gimmic, and my guess it is just a restriction to airflow, I wouldn't let some pay me to put it on my car.
