Tomorrow Im trading in my 2002 lincoln lse for 2006 TL 3.2, I'm already looking at making it stand out. Besides exterior modifications like: tint, lights, etc. I'm already looking into make her sound meaner. The one thing I have never done to any of the cars Ive owned in the passed is touch the exhaust.
I have been looking in to XLR8 mods.
Im not looking to drop 1,000$ the day after I buy this thing so what parts do I need and what parts to what.
J-Pipe(would I be looking at very much sound difference with just this purchase?
Highflow Precats(HFPC)- would this be better then purchasing a jpipe by itself?
Or would the j pipe with the pre cat deletes be the best kit to get a better sound.
Please give me any info on this topic.

PCDs with a j-pipe are going to sound absolutely terrible the day you put them in.
It takes a few months to let the carbon build up and they grow into a pretty aggressive sounding system.
