Ok, so the local pull apart just got 3 TL's in this week. An 05 and two 06's. I am going to go and see what they look like and see what I can find. I wish I could chat with you guys in real time, lol, but I can always go back if anyone has any pointers on little stuff that I can snatch off of them. I will report back later...

I didn't really need anything, but I was going to see about grabbing a Purge Control Solenoid Valve. I got two of them. Who knows, maybe I will get lucky and one of them will squash the tighten gas cap message. But, the best find was a cup holder with a functioning slider in excellent condition. Mine is completely missing the slider. There were other things that I could have gotten if I had more/better tools.

 

How much did they ask for the cupholder? Looks to be in great condition.

 

It definitely is in great condition. They only wanted $5 for it.

Wow, I'm totally jealous of that nice cupholder slider for only 5 bucks. Those purge control valves look like they're in great condition too....usually when a parts car shows up in my area, it's in horrible condition lol.

 

Awesome finds. I also need a new cup holder cover. My are rest is also toast and my leather drivers seat is now ripping. Perhaps I need to check out a few parts places. There are a few large ones around my area.

 

Our pull a part here is great! They send out alerts when your preferred car comes in. I got super lucky with the cup holder. I may go back this weekend to take a look one more time.

 

I remember some one said they pull a working HFL and paid $5 because he stated "its a radio relay"....

 

I definitely looked for HFL's as well. Needless to say, they were gone from all three of the 3rd gen TL's on the lot. I am sure they would have sold it for less than 10 bucks if I was able to find one.
