IS IT ILLEGAL TO BLACK OUT YOUR LIGHTS FRONT AND BACK??? IS IT ILLEGAL TO CHANGE YOUR SIGNAL COLOR(SAY YELLOW TO LIKE REDDISH) ??? I live in NEW JERSEY/CENTRAL. If its illegal, have you ever gotten pull over merely because of this modification? Thanks, fellas. Sorry about the CAP.

 

id say yes to all, im sure you could look up your states vehcile and traffic laws online someplace.

 

i have my front lights smoked and cleared with a white signal color and i have yet to be pulled over by a cop. I live in northern NJ

 

look up your state laws and see if what you want to do would comply with them. i doubt it, but you could try to make an argument for certain modifications to the lights.

 

Yes, I agree with the others and check your state's vehicle codes. However, I don't understand why anyone would want to "black out" the front headlights. Good luck.

but yeah, laws are like so.

1 removal of the reflector is NOT legal. you need to have an orange reflector up front.

2 any bulb in the spectrum from white to orange is legal, anything outside is not.
