If you had to replace the TL what would you get?

Ok, I was passing through g35driver.com and reading the g35 vs maxima thread, (I was really board ok), and a member asked what the Maxima owners were saying. A response was

"There is no reverse argument I've spent 6 years over at Maxima.org and the majority of the Maxima group has their sights set on the G35 sedan/coupe or 350z as their Maxima replacement. More often than not, when someone sells their Maxima it's for one of these four cars:

1) G35 coupe
2) 350Z
3) G35 sedan
4) WRX/WRX STI"

So this brings up a question to you TL owners. If you sell your TL what would you get. I'll go first but punt and give the TL to the wife and get a Elise, Boxter or S2000.

if cash was not an issue - A8
realistically a GS or RL
but i just got my TL and i love it!
i'm sure by the time it's time to move on there will be some new cool rides to choose from

maxima folks seem to be leaning towards the "skateboard" size cars

I am actually seriously considering a trade for the Cadillac CTS-V. I will more than likely wait for the 2007 redesign (int and ext) but the power of the current model is flat out intoxicating!!!

Here is a shot of the 2007 concept:
http://forums.autoweek.com/servlet/J...llac%20CTS.jpg

I should also note that I have never looked seriously at American cars, but this one is simply a stunning ride with gobs and gobs of power (it beats the current M3, and the previous gen M5 in terms of performance). After taking a test drive I can attest to the fact that the car is truly a 4 door Corvette!!

If I had to replace my TL with something other than another TL, it would be a G35 coupe.

If money was not an issue, Porsche Carrera GT Cabriolet, New M5, E55 in that order, since money is, maybe wait for the new TL and see what Acura can offer again.

$60-70K range: E500 4Matic with all the gadgets of the TL
$50K range: Lexus GS 300 AWD with Navi and XM
$30-40 range: keep my TL or the Lexus ES 330 if it stops looking like a Camry and gets a less mushy suspension (with Navi and XM and gadgets of course)

The only car I think looks better than the TL is the 05 Corvette.

At least that is not over 70K and way out of my price range.
