My plates should be coming in any day now cause iv had my car for about a week or a little more and I really want to get tints. Do you think any cops would care if they saw me with a paper plate behind the tinted window, and also could the tape from the license possibly do anything to the tints

I'd wait until the plates come in before doing the tints.

put the temp plate where your license plate should be, on the bumper.

it's not like looseleaf paper that you use in highschool...the writing won't bleed if it gets wet. you'll be fine.

I see paper plates on cars (bumpers) all the time. It should be kinda like thin cardboard.

i had tints and temp tags behind the glass - followed by a cop for a few blocks but then he turned off. i imagine you'll only get a warning if you get pulled over.

One thing I'm pissed about is the bubbles on my back windshield... the guy doing the job told me that the issue is that w/ Acura, you cannot take out the break light, so he couldn't smooth out the bubbles b/c he couldn't reach them... thoughts?

Too late now to do anything, but that sucks IMO. I'd think he could use a longer/bigger squeegee to get back in there and smooth it out during the install. But now its all dry and you're beat. Why not cut around the 3rd brake light anyway?

That ain't right. Looks like ass. And I think it'll get worse over time.

I've never heard of this issue before; too hard to reach?

B/c it looked like ass... it didn't even look really straight on both sides... so I told the guy to just cover it... but he tried the squeezy, but just couldn't get around the brake light...

it does look like ass... I never heard of that issue too... I was pretty pissed at the job, but my gf bought it for as a present... so I'm going to wait until I get the rear fixed and get the back windshield re-done...

Had some dude hit my car at a stop light last week w/ a Dodge Durango... mind you I've had this car for only 2- months... ugh!

I don't think it looks like ass when the tint is cut around the brake light. In fact, I thought it HAD to be cut around the brake light by law.
