Idiot washed car with Sun roof cracked!

Good evening,
Well my wife and I just purchased a 2008 Acura TL, and we absolutely love the car. It is our first Acura so we are finding out all the cool little gadgets and extras that come with it. So anyway, as stated in the title I (being the idiot) washed the car today and thought the sun roof was closed when in fact the rear of the sun roof was down a little. Now I can not find any water inside the car and nothing seems to be wet. But that small amount of water that I rinsed the top of the car off with had to go somewhere. What exactly is down inside the area where the sun roof goes? Is is still sealed from water when the rear of the roof is down just slightly, about 1.5-2"? Should I even be worrying about this? I appreciate the help.

The sun roof has an area inside it that funnels water that may get into it to two drain tubes. Since water didn't get into the car per se, I think your okay. The water just went down the drain tubes. Lesson learned.

BTW, congrats on your first Acura and TL at that And welcome to AZ.

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, we love the car but I am a bit anal with it obviously because it is new. But also because I never really had anything this nice before. I drive a 2006 F150, no leather, no sun roof. So when we bought her car, I have a feeling I am going to lose my mind. I am already looking into cleaning and conditioning the seats. Man! Anyway I appreciate the help, this looks like a great site for info.
Thanks,
Ski

Yeah, going from a F150 to a TL is a bit of change. I love my 08 TL-S myself and pamper it. Yes, this site is awesome, a very mature forum with a wealth of info.

HAHA! I was just on that. Yeah, my F150 is great for what I use it for. I don't know why I am not as anal with that, I mean don't get me wrong I take extremely good care of it. But we have only had this Acura for a day and I am freaking out about every little thing. I think my wife is going to kill me.

The Wash and Wax section is great! I've learned a lot there. Time to wash, clay, seal and wax........
